Lucy & Ross

Imagine a day in late September; friends and family gathered beside a lake for a laid-back outdoor ceremony, the tipi dressed ready for a relaxed gathering and afternoon tea. There are bright yellow sunflowers, deep orange and red decorations. It’s the perfect Autumn wedding. This is exactly what Lucy and Ross managed to conjure – and all in just a few short months!

When the couple booked the venue in May 2021 they had a vision of an informal, stress-free day where their guests could all relax and enjoy the celebrations, and have a great party to mark their marriage! Lucy had an Autumn date in mind, knowing she could style the day with beautiful colours and decorations which would suit them down to the ground. Four months later, their dream was a reality. And what a gorgeous day they had!

Using the holiday cottages, the lads and ladies prepared for the ceremony together in the morning. Chloe Field was on hand to capture every magical moment.

Their ceremony was wonderful, with guests sat on haybales on the terrace beside the lake which had been beautifully styled with flowers from Floral Roundabout. And, of course, we need to mention the incredible flower crown and amazing bouquet they created for Lucy too! A friend led proceedings in spectacular attire – knowing that Lucy & Ross wanted something light-hearted and super fun, he came dressed in full robes and mitre (perfectly colour-coordinated to the day!) and conducted their ceremony dressed as the Pope!
There was also a special appearance from Snowdrop, our lovely little confetti pony. Guests gathered around the tipi to congratulate the couple and enjoyed a drink whilst photos were taken of the bride and groom with friends and family.

Guests were then seated in the tipi for an elegant afternoon tea, along with the brilliant speeches. There was time for everyone to enjoy the autumn afternoon whilst Lucy & Ross explored our amazing surroundings and found some great spots to take some more pictures!

As evening guests arrived and the band began to play, everyone enjoyed pizza and plenty of drinks and dancing! And Elmbridge Farm looked especially lovely covered in twinkling fairy lights and full of happy faces.

What a gorgeous wedding. Congratulations Lucy & Ross!
