Izzy & Andy

When you book a wedding in mid-August you might hope for some sunshine, but it couldn’t have turned out any better for Izzy & Andy’s festival-inspired celebrations! The beautiful weather meant everyone could enjoy all the fun and games outdoors, and just wait until you see the stunning photos they managed to grab too! There was sunshine and laughter from start to finish – just the way we like it.

On the morning of the wedding, the girls were getting ready at home but the boys took the chance to have a few beers in the glamping tents here at Elmbridge Farm as they prepped themselves for the day. They gave the venue the once-over, made their final adjustments and headed off to the church to await the beautiful bride!

After the ceremony everyone returned for the reception in the tipis, where they were met with glasses of fizz and an incredible festival feel in our grounds. There were flags flying down by the lake, there was bunting draped throughout, there were even a few pairs of wellies knocking about! Not to mention the brilliant ‘Stewbury’ sign that greeted guests at the entrance as they drove in.

There was time for everyone to mingle and have drinks whilst listening to the gorgeous live music. And they indulged in some of the games which were out on the terrace, including ladder golf, beanbag toss and mini garden games galore. But the highlight must surely have been the incredible Escape Room which brought out just a little friendly competition between mates! The games inside had been designed with Izzy and Andy in mind and followed a similar festival theme, making a nod to all the things that are most important to the two of them – even including their gorgeous pet dog! It was such a brilliant addition to the day, and we love it when couples bring in something that even we’ve never seen before!

While guests entertained themselves, Izzy and Andy managed to grab some beautiful photos together before everyone took their seats in the tipi for some fabulous food and super speeches. The inside of the tipis were just as joyful and colourful as outside, with beautiful flowers, paper lanterns and pretty origami cranes throughout. The tables were decorated beautifully, each with their own specific pieces to depict the places they were named after – the pine trees for Norway, the red buses for London, the New York City yellow taxi. Genius!

After dinner (and a quick outfit change for the bride!), there was only one thing to get the party started. Izzy & Andy led their friends in a giant game of Beer Pong! This was followed by the cake cutting (featuring another nod to their cheeky pet pooch) and an amazing first dance together. Eventually the dancefloor was filled with happy faces, and there was so much love and laughter in the room. It was the best way to end their incredible day. There were just a few moments to grab their final photos in the forest of fairy lights, and we think you’ll agree they look fabulous!

What a gorgeous wedding and what a brilliant couple.
Congratulations Izzy & Andy!
